Objective Lens
Zygo and star tested 105 mm f-7.0 apochromatic triplet objective using an Ohara FPL-53 super ed center element. This one of the best lenses we have ever offered.
Tube assembly
All aluminum, fully baffled optical tube assembly using precision machined and threaded. Objective lens assembly mounted to a push pull flange for accurate alignment. Powder-coated with Pearl white finish. Fittings are black anodized.
Mounting Ring
Aluminum cnc machined dual mounting rings with three 1/4-20 threaded holes top and bottom. Mounts to various Vixen and Losmandy style plates.

21" long with focuser unthreaded (travel mode) and 22.5" long with focuser installed.
4.1" diameter main tube. Retracting dew shield is and 5 5/16" diameter X 7 7/8" long.

Focuser
3" Starlight Instruments Feather Touch dual speed focuser with 2.5" travel and refractor brake to adjust tension. Compression rings on focuser and 1.25" adapter. Focuser is threaded to back and can be removed for airline carry on travel.

Magnification
This is a true apochromatic triplet so it may be used to Dawes limit and above when the air is steady. Extremely high spherochromatic correction snaps into focus and cuts through the seeing revealing faint planetary details during those moments of steady air. This telescope provides a perfect star test free of false color. It works equally well for visual and astro-photographic use.
