JMI Telescope Carrying Case for Celestron 9¼", 11", 14" OTA Celestron C9¼-S, C9¼-SGT, CG-9¼, C11-SGT, CG-11, CG-14, CGE 925, CGE 1100, CGE 1400, CM-1100, CM-1400This case is for the Optical Tube Assembly (OTA) ONLY. The case includes two lockable latches, three steel-reinforced handles, a 3" by 30" steel hinge and die-cut foam lining for the telescope optical tube. It can be carried by two people using the two handles on either end or pulled using the attached wheels. The foam is configured at the factory for the 9¼" optical tube. You simply pull out precut sections to increase the cavity size to match the 11" or 14" optical tube. The finder scope and diagonal must be detached and carried separately (14") or wrapped for protection and inserted in the extra space in the case (11"). An adapter bracket is included (see below) for instant accurate repositioning when attaching the finder scope. The wheels must be attached to the case by the customer which is easily accomplished in a few seconds with no tools required.
