August 2, 2010 Celestron is proud to announce additions to the Celestron line of products. 
They have added the Sky-Watcher line of premium PRO ED refractors, the Sky-Watcher line of collapsible dobsonians and 2 motorized portable telescopes.

The Sky-Watcher PRO ED refractors features low dispersion (ED) Schott glass, that provides you with true color renditions, 2” dual speed Crayford-style focuser for precision focusing, 8x50 right angle viewfinder, 2” dielectric diagonal for, 2 - 1.25” eyepieces, tube ring attachment hardware and a deluxe padded aluminum case for travel and storage. Available in 80mm, 100mm and 120mm sizes.

The Sky-Watcher Dobsonians feature a unique collapsible system for easier storage and transporting, 2” dual speed Crayford-style focuser for precision focusing, 8x50 right angle viewfinder and an easy to point, rocker style mount with Teflon bearings for smooth movement to all directions. Available in 8”, 10” and 12” sizes.

Also available are 2 Motorized Backpacker Telescope packages. These packages feature an optical tube, a motorized table top mount (with electronic directional hand control)and 2 - 1.25” eyepieces all fitting in a nice backpack for maximum portability. Available in 80mm refractor or 90mm Maksutov Cassegrain.
